2023: Boost for APC as Powerful Northern Senator Donates 100 Vehicles, ICT Centre to Tinubu’s Campaign

Nigeria’s main ruling party has just been greeted with a major boost for its campaign, a few months before the 2023 general elections.

Senator Sani Musa (APC Niger East) donated 100 vehicles and an ICT centre to support the Tinubu presidential campaign.

The senator gave a reason for the donation

Inaugurating the centre and the vehicles, Tinubu said:

”I inaugurate these vehicles and the ICT office for the well being of Nigerians and for the good health of the people of Niger during and after our presidential campaign.”

Musa told the APC presidential candidate that all hands are on deck to mobilize eligible voters to massively vote all the party candidates in the forthcoming general election, The Nation reported.

He described his gesture as a modest contribution towards the victory of APC.

Loyal party members get rewarded

The senator also announced a donation of tricycles to loyal party members.

Tinubu was accompanied to the event by his running mate, Kashim Shettima, the Senate President, Ahmed Lawal, Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger state, Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau, Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa and Atiku Bagudu of kebbi.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has debunked the rumours that its presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was rushed off the stage at his rally in Minna, Niger state, due to health concerns.

Bayo Onanuga, the director, Media and Publicity, APC Presidential Campaign Council, said this in a statement shared on Tinubu/Shettima’s official campaign website.

Onanuga said Tinubu left the rally early on Wednesday, December 14, to attend to other programmes of the day.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that a mammoth crowd of supporters converged on the Trade Fair Complex, Minna venue of the APC Presidential campaign rally in Niger state on Wednesday, December 14, to receive Tinubu.

A statement signed by Tinubu Media Office, Tunde Rahman, and sent to Legit.ng indicates that the electrifying crowd was too ecstatic to see Tinubu shortly after arriving in Minna where he also attended the Town Hall meeting with farmers and agro-commodity traders.

The shout of “Asiwaju, you don win, you don win, don’t say anything” rented the air at the rally.
